Originally hailing from Newport Beach, CA, I am a multidisciplinary freelance graphic designer, production artist, photographer and music journalist with over 12 years worth of expertise working with artists, bands, musicians, photographers, promoters, booking agencies, festivals and labels on bespoke poster design, key artwork conceptualization, speciality merchandise (including print production and setup), vinyl packaging configurations and photography; with a focus on live performances, portraiture and multimedia consumer products. Additionally, I have over 6 years worth of know-how in booking, promoting, showcasing and managing live bands and artists, as well as 4 years of experience working as an A&R rep and creative services manager. I am also a voting member of The Recording Academy for The Grammys!

Never wanting to limit my intellect, I consider myself an autodidact with an observant memory and can be a chameleon or Swiss army knife of sorts profoundly keen on and constantly aware of absorbing as much information and knowledge as I possibly can—having previously studied Political Science, English Literature, History and Graphic Design throughout my years of education.

It is thus through this immeasurable passion for all things historically authentic and accurate, that my love of cinema was ignited, as I am constantly inspired by movie posters and magazines of the mid-1960s all the way to the late 1980s. As well as a new found appreciation for the romanticism of the ‘90s and early aughts; in that both Empire Records and 24 Hour Party People, will always remain beloved favorites of mine. While, Hipgnosis, the English art team behind such iconic artistic contributions as Led Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy and T. Rex’s Electric Warrior covers have seemingly acted as a guiding force behind my own creative endeavors. That, and of course Peter Saville’s work for Factory Records. As a result of these forever ephemeral inspirations, my designs often incorporate familiar cut-and-paste techniques, as well as photographic elements that collectively emphasize a unique timeless ‘70s flair, yet thoroughly modern aesthetic.

Recent projects of note include: designing the commemorative poster for the Arctic Monkeys’ underplay at Kings Theatre; the design of which incorporated elements of collaging, personal film photography, and a combination of mixed typographical elements and fonts. While working in tandem with the in-house design team at Precision Record Pressing to execute 2 box sets for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s bootleg series, I effectively laid the foundation for future box set layouts to be based upon. And prior to engaging in such other notable projects, was the lead graphic designer for Oneohtrix Point Never’s Safdie Brothers’ (Uncut Gems) directed music video, ‘Lost But Never Alone’. I also had the honor of directing and shooting the band, THICK, on both digital and film photographic formats for Nicole Miller’s Spring 2021 fashion campaign. Not to mention, for nearly the last decade, I have been closely working and collaborating with New York City based band, Acid Dad.

Previously, I worked as the Creative Director, Head Designer and Junior A&R Rep for Greenway Records and as the lead Designer for LEVITATION’s in-house record label, The Reverberation Appreciation Society. Which included designing all album packaging configurations for the LEVITATION Sessions and Live at LEVITATION series – some of which also feature my live show photography. Throughout this tenure, I successfully helped to conceptualize visually appealing and vibrantly colored vinyl records, as well as a plethora of other full-time creative services that included (but was not limited to): content creation, social media management, and also shooting and editing all physical products that subsequently came through our doors.

I love vibrant collaboration and working closely with other artists and team members, especially in regards to reformatting key artwork for various uses and mediums. But I also never want to limit myself to just one area of skills or interests, or even just one passion in the music and entertainment industry, as I am still learning, still growing, still evolving and still constantly applying myself. Through a conscious development of my creative journey, I have continued to gain valuable experiences in the pursuit of booking, promoting, showcasing and managing live bands and artists via Rolodex MGMT. And with that being said, make sure to checkout Programmique on Greenway Records!
